Cutover has developed an Apps UI framework that integrates with third-party systems to send data into Cutover. In some cases, the Apps support bi-directional synchronization, enabling updates made in Cutover to be reflected back in the third-party system so that both platforms remain aligned.
A common use case for Cutover Apps is Incident Management, where Major Incident Managers and resolver teams use the platform to coordinate and orchestrate incident resolution workflows. Apps can integrate with popular ITSM platforms, including ServiceNow, and messages delivered from third-party systems can be routed through Cutover Connect to the relevant Apps.
In an Incident Management scenario, Cutover Apps maintain synchronization between both systems throughout the entire incident lifecycle. Any incident created or updated in ServiceNow is automatically mirrored in the corresponding Cutover incident runbook, and any changes made in Cutover are similarly synced back to ServiceNow.
The Architecture diagram below illustrates the flow between the third party system and Cutover Apps.
